9-Free Nail Polish

1 review

Another modern beauty from Spela Cosmetics! You've heard of 3-free or 6-free nail polish, but Spela blows them out of the water with their 9-free* nail colour! You're going to love these new (slightly unconventional) neutral shades to create your own cool-girl factor.

*"9-Free" means Spela's nail polishes are formulated without Formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Xylene, Lead, Paraben, Ethyl Tosylamide making them safe for all members of your family.

Shade Descriptions

Squad Goals: a pale putty pink tone that is equal parts feminine and edgy.

Blissed Out: pale blue shade reminiscent of lakeside lounging in the summer or your favorite faded pair of denim.

Wheel Thrown: a dark taupe putty colour similar to the wet clay you might use at the pottery studio. It works really well as an updated and slightly unconventional nude shade on olive to dark skin tones.

G.O.A.T. gray: the Greatest Of All Time - our favourite gray. Pale enough to read as a nude-toned nail, without being too cool toned to wash you out. And as a gray - it really goes with absolutely everything.

Chasing Pavements: a pale to medium toned gray with just the slightest slate blue tone similar to the colour of freshly poured pavement.

Rosé All Day: a very soft, but medium toned and ever so slightly dusty rose shade that works on every complexion. This is hands down our favourite new pink shade.

Skin Contact: a medium toned apricot shade that works well on every complexion and is reminiscent of the terra cotta pots we've got scattered around our office.

Pinky Swear: an old school pale pink that you remember from your childhood - it's a super super pale bubblegum pink.

Moon Bath: a soft wash of translucent white. It is our only shade that isn't highly pigmented, but meant to give your nails a sheer veil that applies very evenly.

Peaches and Dreams: the most soft ethereal peach tone we've seen. Reads as a pale nude if you're fair skinned or as a lighter nail on darker skin tones.

Up All Night: a medium-dark gray with purple tones, reminiscent of the way the sky lights up as you wait for the sun to rise.  It's an easy way to ease into doing a dark nail.

Activated Charcoal: the perfect dark charcoal shade. A dark ashy charcoal gray tone with just the slightest olive undertone making it softer and more wearable than a true black.

This is such nice nail polish! I tried Chasing Pavements first and loved it so much, I got Rose All Day. They go on so smooth, and not streaky at all. The smell isn't too bad. I was recommended the base coat, top coat and nail polish remover by Pure Anada, and they make my weekly nail polish ritual perfect. I'm in love with all of these products!
